JD & Folk Appalachian Flatfooting

Dan and Jake of Newcastle and Leeds, were both originally taught Appalachian Flatfooting by Sue Coe and then Ira Bernstein and have taken what they learnt and mixed it with a little bit of tap (thanks Dan) and whatever pops into their heads. When dancing out they show this in their relaxed, musical and often funny (though rarely planned) routines.

As pioneers of Appalachian Dan and Jake have also shown the world (England) a number of dance forms it has never seen before! Ballapallachian and Sumo Step in Towersey! Cowboy clog in Shrewsbury! And we very much hope - more to come...
