OUROBOROS PRESENTS THE LATEST IN CUTTING EDGE JAZZ…

Jasmine is a saxophone-led from Leeds, performing music composed by saxophonist Jasmine Whalley. The band uses Ableton live to perform an interesting blend of Jazz and Hip-Hop which creates a unique and current sound. Jasmine is inspired by artists including MF Doom, MadVillain, Soweto Kinch, Bonobo and more.

Since the band formed in September 2017, they have performed at some of Leeds' most popular Jazz venues such as The Wardrobe, SevenArts and The Hyde Park Book Club, as well as festivals across the north, quickly becoming one of the most hotly tipped acts on the circuit.

In July 2018, Jasmine were selected to take part in the 'Jazz North Introduces' scheme, which supports emerging artists in the north. This was a huge achievement for the band and since being awarded they have started working on their debut EP, which is out shortly.

Tickets £7 adv / £10 on the day, available from the Great Yorkshire Fringe website.

If you are unable to afford tickets, please contact hannah@artsbarge.com to apply for a discretionary 50% discount.

Disabled Access
Due to the ‘work in progress’ state of the Arts Barge at this year’s festival, we regret that wheelchair access down to the performance space is not possible.

Through Riverside 2019 we aim to raise interest and funds to return in 2020 with full disabled access lift and toilet facilities.

In the meantime, the gang-planks onto the barge are wide and wheelchair users are very welcome to enjoy the deck area. Our Riverside marquee (24th - 28th July) is free and accessible to all. Accessible toilet facilities in St. George’s Field car park, will be available during all Arts Barge Riverside Festival opening hours.
