By The Blue Bridge is a new three-day festival of music and art on the Arts Barge running from Friday 16th to Sunday 18th May .

FRIDAY EVENING: Opening with Friday night fun in the style of a late-night-talk-show with guest musicians. Hosted by bonkers Sir Dickie Benson - one of Edinburgh Fringe’s most outlandish thespian barbarians. Featuring short performances and interviews with Pascallion, ish, Jarmouse, Gabbie Lord, Si Paton and The Wreckliners. ……….

  • DOORS 6:45pm, SHOW STARTS 7:20pm. (with 30 minute interval). This show is in THEATRE FORMAT so get there on time!!

SATURDAY: Daytime workshops from 11am - 2pm (not ticketed - free entry) including Water Poetry with Becca Drake, Digital Plotting with Des Clarke and a Sound Workshop with a collective from the Hague.

Saturday continues with eclectic musical acts from 3pm until late - including Sinead Una, Rowan & Friends, Captain Starlet, Gaia Blandina, Slagroom, Des Clarke, Gabriella Hunzinger and The Rattlers.

SUNDAY: The theme for Sunday is ‘folky and weird’, best exemplified by headliners Milkweed who blend guitar, banjo and vocals with cut and paste tape extracts.

Starting 12 til 2pm with Open Mic and Pot Luck bring a dish to share (not ticketed - free entry)

Music starts at 2.30pm with Oli Knight, We Are Hannah, Mugwort, Kirk, Big Rain in The Morning, The Caterpillar Spies, Bull and Milkweed until close at 10.00pm.
