Flooded Memories: The Agency of the Rivers Foss and Ouse (Weekend 1)
Come join us at The Arts Barge* for a weekend of exploration and discovery as we delve into the rich history and significance of the Yorkshire Rivers Foss and Ouse. From drenched archival records to muddy artefacts, swords, deeds, and pubs, this pop-up exhibition explores how the Foss and Ouse have and continue to produce, destroy, and preserve the history, heritage, and memories of York.
Inevitably asking, do rivers have agency?
